Terms of Service

Purpose of this service
This service allows prospective adopters to submit information for Cotton Branch Refuge Project’s pig adoption review process. It also supports authorized team members and trusted reviewers in evaluating applications and coordinating next steps.
Application requirements
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to submit only materials you are authorized to share. You are responsible for keeping private application and review links secure and for notifying Cotton Branch if you believe a link has been accessed improperly.
Review and adoption decisions
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, placement, a particular animal, transportation, or a specific timeline. Cotton Branch may verify information, request additional details, contact authorized references, pause review, decline an application, or determine that a different placement is in an animal’s best interest.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, submit unlawful or harmful content, impersonate another person, or use private information obtained through the service for an unrelated purpose.
Third-party services
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, communications, mapping, automation, public-record research, and other functions. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.
Service availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when needed. Although we work to keep the service available and accurate, it is provided as available and may occasionally contain errors, delays, or interruptions.
Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Cotton Branch Refuge Project is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, this service. Nothing in these terms limits responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
